Melanie Wang, DDS, vividly remembers the day she got her braces off at age 15 and the excitement for this milestone event. As the daughter of a dentist and as someone with a knack for math and science, the San Diego native knew even as a young girl that she wanted to go into the field of dentistry or a related specialty.
